The Lions are committed to keeping our boys and girls on the field, and their families, safe from COVID. Our stance is we are committed to having a full football season. We’ll do our part by taking the following precautions on the field;
• Only approved volunteers should contact football equipment and water bottles.
• Our volunteers will sanitize prior to equipment contact, and after practice.
• All coaches and players will sanitize prior to practice.
Our biggest concern is when we send our athletes home with you. So we need you to do your part to keep your family safe and to reduce the chance of spreading the virus:
• If athletes have any symptoms, stay at home.
• As you/your athlete prepares to leave the facility you/they should take every measure to sanitize themselves before the ride home, even down to their clothing.
• Athletes should avoid contact with others after practice.
• Athletes should use good social distancing and follow CDC guidelines while not on the field, before and after practice.
Our goals is to allow our athletes to experience the excitement of football and for our support system to allow this to be as normal as possible while on the field. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
